Tom Jackson is a wildly acclaimed and highly decorated actor, musician, and activist from One Arrow First Nation. For over 40 years, he has been at the forefront of contemporary film, TV, and music and continues to create, perform and produce timeless works of art. Tom Jackson’s remarkable talent has been seen in some blockbuster films such as the dark comedy thriller Cold Pursuit opposite Liam Neeson. And he’s been in countless marquee television roles on hit shows like North of 60, Shining Time Station, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Law & Order, Outlander and Cardinal. 

 But it’s his charitable work, as a champion for the marginalized, that has made Tom a giant. His seasonal music tradition, “The Huron Carole” has toured all over Canada for three decades - raising funds for local food banks and family service agencies. The 12-part online series “Almighty Voices” explored the connection between arts and mental health while raising funds for music professionals. The release of “364 – Timeless Wisdom for Modern Times” exemplified the purpose behind positivity while fundraising for The Canadian Red Cross.

With over $230 million in combined cash and in-kind value raised for food banks and disaster relief, it’s no wonder Tom, currently an Ambassador for the Red Cross, received the 2007 Juno Humanitarian Award, the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement in 2014, and in 2020 was promoted to Companion of the Order of Canada - the highest designation with the Order.
