MARJORIE BEAUCAGE

Marjorie Beaucage is a Métis activist filmmaker and a Two-Spirit Elder and teacher born in Manitoba. She has worked as a filmmaker, cultural administrator, educator and organizer, and believes that sharing stories is a form of medicine.  

She is the co-founder of the Aboriginal Film and Video Art Alliance and the resident Elder of OUTSaskatoon.  As an attempt to raise awareness about the experiences of Two-Spirit individuals, Marjorie’s documentary film, “Coming In Stories” focuses on the gifted individuals who possess a balance of both feminine and masculine principles within them.
